Avatar Olympics Scavenger Hunt Rules

1. On Saturday, March 15^th, at 1:15 pm EDT, all teams will be given eight “items” they will need to find. The first to find all items and have one person PM them to me (pooldude256) in chat will be the first to receive the first set of items in which everyone must find. Ten points will also be awarded to the team who submits first, 8 to second, 6 to third, 4 to fourth, 2 to all others.

2. Once all teams have found all 8 items, or by 2 pm EDT,whichever is last, I will PM the person who PMed me the first group of items. They will be PMed in order of finding the first group of items, per #1. They will receive a new group of items in which they must find and must do so by 2:35 pm EDT. The items must be found and PMed in order (they can be sent in different PMs, just have to be in order), and each team will get 1 point per item found, and a bonus 2 points for each item found before any other team (remember they have to be posted in order, though).

3. Once the second group of items are PMed to me, we will take a break until 3 pm EDT.

4. At 3 pm EDT, there will be a speed round, in which one item will be posted at a time and the first person to post that item will get points. There will be approximately 15 items and will take from 30-45 minutes. Point values will be assigned at the time. Then there will be another short break until 4 pm EDT. This will be done in main chat.

5. Next there will be a word puzzle which will be figured out using different information from different fansites. Should take no more than 30 minutes. When teams have figured out the puzzle, they should PM the vertical word to me in chat.

6. An two-hour-long break from 4:30-6:30 pm EDT will then occur.

7. At 6:30 pm EDT, there will be an only-screenshot scavenger hunt. I will post in main chat the list of the screenshots to be found. All screenshots should be posted in one single post in chat by one person. This should take approximately 40 minutes. Each screenshot will be worth different amounts of points. A short break will occur until 7:30.

8. At approximately 7:30 pm, a final list of 20 items will be posted in the main chat. Each will be assigned a point value. They will be divided into five groups of four. Your team can choose to start with whichever group, and it will be winner-take-all. So if one team submits all 4 items in one group and PMs it to me first, they will get all the points within that group. However, runners-up will get 1/3 of the points of the first place finisher in the category. Teams can use whatever strategy to find the most items and gain the most points.

9. The scavenger hunt will conclude when all categories have been found by at least 2 teams. Points will be added up, and the team who accumulated the most points will get the most points added to their overall Olympics score. Second most in the scavenger hunt will get the second most added to their score, and so on.

Tomorrow we will have two final events for the Olympics!  At 1 pm EDT, a scavenger hunt will commence!  Be back here for instructions at that time.  I will be in chat all day for questions.  Please note you do not have to be on the entire day.  You can join whenever and leave whenever.

Then at 10 pm EDT the final trivia will commence.  Team captains need to PM their team members by 9:55 pm EDT to Dylan.  It will be a special trivia and will take up to 2 hours.  Each team can have up to 3 players!  This trivia is surely not to be missed!

Tonight I will be posting results for some of the contests so things should be up-to-date by tomorrow night!

Well since only one site submitted entries for yesterday's "Dub the Framegrab" I've canceled it.  I don't know why all the teams didn't submit but the contest is canceled.
